About this treatment
Skin boosters are injectable hyaluronic acid treatments designed to deeply hydrate, rejuvenate, and improve the overall quality of your skin — from within. Unlike fillers, they don't add volume or change your features. They work beneath the surface to restore moisture, stimulate collagen, and create a natural, lasting glow.
At SOMA, we offer three leading skin boosters — SeventyHyal®, Profhilo®, and Jalupro Super Hydro® — each with different strengths. We'll recommend the right one for your skin at consultation.
The Treatments
SeventyHyal® Skin Booster
A vegan-friendly injectable moisturiser with one of the highest molecular weight HA concentrations on the market. Often referred to as the more accessible alternative to Profhilo — excellent results at a friendlier price point. Treats face, neck, and hands. Results in as little as 15 minutes per session.
Profhilo®
The gold standard bio-remodelling treatment. Profhilo delivers a high concentration of hyaluronic acid that spreads through the skin to improve laxity, firmness, and hydration simultaneously. Uses just five injection points per side for an incredibly comfortable treatment. Ideal for skin that needs more than surface hydration.
Jalupro Super Hydro®
An advanced amino acid and hyaluronic acid skin booster that targets deep hydration, skin texture, and early signs of ageing. A great option for those looking to improve skin quality without committing to a full course.

What to Expect
Consultation
We assess your skin, discuss your concerns, and recommend the right skin booster and course for your goals. No pressure — we'll explain the differences between products clearly.
Treatment
A topical numbing cream is applied. The product is delivered via a series of micro-injections across the treatment area. Each session takes around 30 minutes with no downtime required.
The Course
Most skin boosters work best as a course. SeventyHyal and Jalupro are recommended as 3 sessions. Profhilo is recommended as 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart, followed by a 6-monthly maintenance session.
Aftercare
Avoid touching the treated area, strenuous exercise, and extreme heat for 24 hours. Small bumps (blebs) at injection sites are normal and disperse within 24–48 hours.
What to Expect Afterwards
Small bumps at injection sites are normal and resolve within 24–48 hours. The skin may feel slightly tender. There is no significant downtime and most clients return to daily activities immediately.
Visible improvements in hydration, texture, and glow typically appear within 2–4 weeks. The best results are seen after completing the recommended course, with maintenance treatments every 3–6 months.

Pricing
Consultation fee of £50 is redeemable against your treatment. Course savings apply when booked together. Results and longevity vary between individuals.
