About this treatment
Lip fillers use hyaluronic acid — a substance naturally found in the skin — to add volume, shape, and definition to the lips. Whether you want subtle hydration, a fuller pout, or improved symmetry, the treatment is tailored entirely to your goals.
Rebecca at SOMA specialises in natural-looking lip augmentation. Every treatment is a meticulous process — no cookie-cutter results, no overfilled looks. Just lips that feel like a better version of yours.
What Lip Fillers Can Do
From a barely-there hydration boost to full volume and contour, lip filler treatments can be precisely calibrated to your preference. Results are immediate, last 6–24 months, and can be dissolved if needed — making them one of the most flexible aesthetic treatments available.
Common goals include adding volume to thin lips, improving symmetry, defining the cupid's bow, reducing smoker's lines, and restoring lost volume that comes naturally with age.
Your lips, perfected. We take the time to understand your face, your goals, and your lifestyle before placing a single drop of filler. The result is lips that move naturally, look beautiful, and feel completely you.

What to Expect
Consultation
We discuss your goals and assess your lip shape, facial proportions, and medical history. We agree the right treatment and amount before starting — no surprises.
Numbing
A topical numbing cream is applied and left for 20–30 minutes. For those who want complete comfort, a lidocaine dental block is available as an add-on for full numbing.
Treatment
Filler is precisely placed using a fine needle or cannula. The treatment takes 20–45 minutes depending on the volume and areas being treated. Results are visible immediately.
Aftercare
Avoid kissing, pressure on the lips, strenuous exercise, alcohol, and extreme heat for 24 hours. Some swelling and tenderness is normal and settles within a few days. Avoid blood-thinning medications before treatment to reduce bruising risk.
What to Expect Afterwards
Swelling is common after lip filler, particularly in the first 24–48 hours. The lips may look larger than the final result during this time — this is completely normal. Tenderness and light bruising usually resolves within 3–5 days.
Final results are visible at 2 weeks once all swelling has settled. Results last 6–24 months. A 3-week top-up appointment is available if you'd like a little more volume once the filler has settled.
The above is a general guide. Full personalised aftercare advice is provided at your appointment.
Pricing
Consultation fee of £50 is redeemable against your treatment. Results and longevity vary between individuals. Avoid blood-thinning medications before treatment to reduce bruising risk — consult your doctor before stopping any medication.

Lip filler treatments are a popular way to enhance the lips by adding hydration, shape, and volume while maintaining a soft, natural look. Whether you’re looking for a subtle boost or a more defined contour, there are options to suit your desired result. For those who want hydration without added volume, the Lip Booster treatment provides deep moisture. If you're looking for a little extra shape and definition, a 0.5ml Lip Filler treatment offers natural-looking enhancement, while the Contour and Volume treatment creates fuller, more sculpted lips.

If you're looking for a complete lip transformation, the Lip Filler and Blush Tattoo treatment enhances both volume and color for long-lasting results. For those wanting to correct or remove previous filler, dissolving treatment using Hyaluronidase is available.
