Post Treatment Expectations
Immediately after your Medik8 facial, your skin will feel refreshed, hydrated, and noticeably smoother. A healthy glow is common, and any redness tends to be mild and settles quickly—usually within a few hours.
Depending on the facial or peel used, you may also experience:
Slight warmth or tingling
Mild sensitivity, especially to heat or active products
Light flaking in the days following treatments that include exfoliation or enzymes

After Care
To protect your skin and maximise your results, please follow the guidance below:
For the First 24 Hours
Avoid touching or rubbing the treated skin unnecessarily.
Do not apply makeup if possible (mineral makeup only if essential).
Avoid heavy exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, and sun exposure.
Avoid using active skincare such as retinol/Vitamin A, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, or exfoliating products.
For 48–72 Hours
Use gentle, non-active cleansers and moisturisers only.
Keep skin well hydrated with Medik8-recommended moisturisers or serums.
Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds.
Do not exfoliate or use scrubs.
Avoid hair removal treatments on the face such as waxing, threading, or depilatory creams.
Sun Protection
Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 daily, even on cloudy days.
Reapply if spending prolonged time outdoors.
This is essential to protect fresh skin and maintain results.
Makeup
You can return to normal makeup the following day, unless otherwise advised.
Mineral-based products are recommended immediately after treatment.
